Heutink Foundation.

Together with fellow students, I developed a brand identity for the Heutink Foundation, including flyers, stickers, annual reports, and more. The focus was on highlighting underprivileged children and emanating creativity. We opted for a design that appears as if crafted by the child itself, employing playful colors, illustrations, and fonts. This brand identity effectively communicates the values and objectives of the Heutink Foundation in a powerful and recognizable manner.

Is it just a logo?

This design consists of custom images that together form the shape of a tree, with each individual image representing a specific emotion of a child. The various emotions are reflected not only in the images themselves but also in the intricate patterns. The tree, symbolizing growth and life, is a powerful visual metaphor, showing how each emotion contributes to the overall development of a child. The custom images, carefully selected and placed, create a vibrant and dynamic representation of the full range of a child’s emotional experience.

A tree full of emotions

In this design, each emotion of a child is translated into a unique pattern and custom image. These images collectively form the shape of a tree, a symbol of growth and life. The tree's intricate patterns reflect the diverse emotions—energy, joy, creativity, connections, emotion, freedom, ambitions, and the experience of the present moment—that contribute to a child’s overall development. By carefully selecting and placing these images, the design vividly captures the dynamic and vibrant range of a child's emotional landscape, illustrating how each feeling plays a crucial role in their personal growth.

Pattern

The pattern in this design represents different emotions of a child. Each part of the pattern is designed to show a specific feeling, creating a balanced and interesting flow. The repeating shapes reflect how these emotions are connected. The pattern's movement suggests growth and change, just like a child's emotional journey. Overall, the pattern brings together these emotions in a simple yet meaningful way.
